Finally, the long wait is over and you have been blessed with a gorgeous, teeny tiny baby.
Congratulations! Well, if you are reading this right now, you are probably in the last stretch to meeting your beautiful bundle for the first time and right on time to start booking your newborn session.
Before your newborn’s shoot session, we will have a pre-shoot consultation which is where I will brief you in full on what to expect and what to bring along.
As you may well know, babies tend to decide if they are ready or not to meet the world, and therefor the due date almost never is the date that baby is born. My munchkin, for example, was (and still is) a very impatient little human, and as such decided to enter the world a full 10 days ahead of her scheduled date.
So that being said, which date do you book for your newborn’s portrait session? You will make the booking for the due date. I keep a slots open for the week before and the week after your due date, which gives us plenty of leeway. The day after baby is born you (or your spouse/partner or parents) give me a call (or text or email) to let me know baby is born. During this call we will set the official session time and date. Easy-peasy, right?
Hi there! I am Celeste, mommy to a sassy little 3 year old, wife to an IT geek, lover of art, literature, adventure and, most important, family.
The Newborn phase is a very short, precious (albeit super hard and sleep deprived) time of any parent’s life. These little humans will never EVER be this little again. And speaking from experience, before you blink your eyes they are one year old and already have very strong personal opinions about the world around them, and you forget how teenie tiny that little body was against yours, how dainty those little fingers and toes were.
It is my top priority to keep your little one safe. I will NOT attempt to pose your baby in any way or manner which may cause harm. My studio and all the props I make use of are sanitised after each session. The sessions are scheduled for three hours to ensure you have more than enough time for feeds, diaper changes during the shoot.
Think of this session as your mini-vacation – obviously you will “work” a little in terms of posing (we DO need some pics with mommy, daddy and the siblings), but other than that, you can sit back, relax, and just enjoy the experience (or even take a little much needed nap)
Not sure if I’m your girl? Contact me and lets get together for some tea or a skype date.

I sincerely hope to meet you soon.
Let’s get you booked for your newborn portrait session!
I only take on 10 Newborn clients annually, and slots do tend to fill quick. So, what are you waiting for?
